Stars: Dustin Hoffman, Robin Williams and Julia Roberts
Genres: Adventure, Family, Fantasy

Some thoughts on the film: Robin Williams was great, Julia Roberts was all right (except when she’s trying to be seductive and sweet) and Dustin Hofman was sometimes hilarious and sometimes dreadful. Not sure whether he was taking any of it seriously. Also, a lawyer shouldn’t leave a boy in charge when there’s a fairy godmother in the country. Talk about a sign of the times. Incidentally, Neverland was called Fantasy Land in the Dutch subtitles, worst translation ever. A non-Rufio cut would have been a vast improvement.

And the score… HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! Magical would probably be a gross understatement. What a masterpiece! The Never Feast, Hook’s themes, Tink’s arrival… symphonic bliss. At times, this film is too childish for an adult, but the score was worth every minute of it.
